PepsiCo Inc. plans to build a bottling facility near the intersection of Tower Road and Pena Boulevard in Denver, according to a businessden.com report.

Pepsi Co will purchase 148 acres currently owned by Westside Investment Partners to build a roughly 1.1 million square-foot building for beverage manufacturing and warehousing, with an additional 150,000 to 250,000 square-foot fulfillment center.

The plant will replace an existing 30-acre plant at 3801 Brighton Blvd.,

According to a plan document, the proposed project is an opportunity for the city that would bring 475 jobs, of which about 200 would be net new jobs. The average annual wages would be close to $65,000.
