PepsiCo names Ram Krishnan CEO of North America beverages

PepsiCo Inc. has promoted Ram Krishnan from international beverages and chief commercial officer to CEO of PepsiCo Beverages North America, replacing Kirk Tanner, who will retire on Feb. 2 after 32 years with the company, according to a press release.

Since joining PepsiCo in 2006, Krishnan has held a number of senior leadership roles with the company.

Tanner will join The Wendy's Co. as chief executive officer following his departure from PepsiCo.
