PepsiCo has released one of its newest product innovations, Frutly, a hydrating juice water designed with teens in mind, according to a press release. A newcomer to the juice aisle, Frutly (fro͞otlē or fruit-ly) is made with water, fruit juice and electrolytes to provide hydration and vitamins C and E.

Frutly was created to reinvigorate the category by addressing both parents' desires for more nutritious beverage options for their families and the needs of teens who have outgrown the juice boxes and pouches of their childhood.

Available in three flavors , strawberry kiwi, fruit punch and apple grape, Frutly has 60 calories per 12-fluid-ounce serving and is on grocery store shelves nationwide in single flavor four-packs.

The initial product rollout will focus on grocery and mass merchant channels where ambient juice is sold, a company spokesperson told Vending Times via email. However, the company is exploring "any and all" future opportunities to bring Frutly to more people and to ensure that it's available where our consumers are picking up their favorite beverages.

The product will not be available through Pepsi Cola bottlers, the spokesperson said.
