PepsiCo China halts production after employee tests positive for coronavirus

PepsiCo China said production at a food plant was suspended after at least one employee tested positive for the coronavirus on June 15, according to a Reuters report.

Fan Zhimin, PepsiCo China's director of corporate affairs, did not say how many cases were detected.

Pang Xinghuo, a senior official for the Beijing disease control authority, stated at the same news conference eight people at the plant had tested positive.
