Pennsylvania school receives book vending machine

Washington Elementary in Boyertown, Pennsylvania, has received a book vending machine as part of Read Across American Week, according to a bctv.org report.

The machine was a gift from the Foundation for Boyertown Education. It accepts tokens earned by students for good behavior.

"The machine not only gets kids excited about reading, but also provides a lesson in setting goals and earning rewards, by being good role models," Amy Muzopappa, executive director for the Foundation, told the news outlet.
