A Mifflin County, Pennsylvania, man has been charged after allegedly damaging a vending machine and vandalizing a nearby business in McVeytown, according to an ABC45 report. Pennsylvania State Police said Timothy Peachey, 33, poured oil on a vending machine on East John Street on May 17, causing an estimated $10,843 in damage to the machine and its contents.

Troopers also allege that Peachey smeared raw chicken on the front glass door of McVeytown Market during the incident. Authorities said the motive for the acts remains unclear. Peachey faces a felony charge of criminal mischief, along with misdemeanor disorderly conduct and a summary offense for scattering rubbish. He was released on bail and is awaiting a preliminary hearing.
