Pennsylvania lifts frozen dessert testing requirements

Pennsylvania recently repealed its Frozen Dessert Law of 1965 which mandated monthly testing and additional licensing requirements for frozen desserts, according to a National Automatic Merchandising Association government affairs update.

As a result, parties that operate an establishment where frozen dessert is manufactured or prepared for distribution or sale no longer have to abide by the testing requirements. Other licensing and regulatory requirements still apply.
