Pennsylvania House passes catalytic converter theft measure

The Pennsylvania House has passed a bill to combat catalytic converter theft, according to the National Automatic Merchandising Association weekly wrap-up. Both NAMA and the Tri-State Automatic Merchandising Council supported the bill.

Lawmakers in California, Connecticut, Georgia, Delaware and New Jersey have introduced similar legislation.

NAMA has joined a coalition of trade groups to support a federal law to combat rising catalytic converter theft.
