PayRange settles patent dispute with Card Concepts

PayRange, a provider of mobile payment solutions for unattended retail, and Card Concepts Inc., a laundry payment technology provider, have settled a patent infringement lawsuit, according to a press release.
The agreement includes CCI licensing certain PayRange mobile payment technologies.
The lawsuit stemmed from PayRange's claims that CCI's products infringed on their mobile payment patents. The settlement allows both companies to move forward with a focus on innovation.
"We are pleased to have reached an equitable agreement that validates our intellectual property and fosters innovation," Paresh Patel, founder and CEO of PayRange, said in the release. "This resolution underscores our dedication to protecting our patents while providing fair and reasonable access to our technology."
