PayRange Launches Refer-A-Friend Promotion

PORTLAND, OR -- A new promotion from PayRange is hoping to drive additional sales to operators' machines by encouraging users to share a free vend with their friends or coworkers via the PayRange App. There is no cost to the user for the Refer-A-Friend Promotion and the operator is paid for the free vend.

The PayRange payment system includes a Bluetooth transceiver for the vending machine, along with a mobile app and transaction processing service for the customer.

Through the new promotion, existing PayRange users may send referral codes by text message or email. The recipients of these codes will receive one free vend at a PayRange enabled machine once they download the mobile app and register an account using the referral code.

This new account comes preloaded with one free vend up to $2, allowing the new user to try PayRange without having to pay upfront. No credit card is required for the trial.

Once the new user funds their PayRange account, their referring friend will receive one free vend up to $2 as a "thank you" from PayRange for sharing the service. No limit is placed on the number of referrals an existing user may send.

Current operators are automatically enrolled and no additional action is required by them to take advantage of the promotion.
