PayLabs DexLink Vending Management Software Is Now Free

CALGARY, AB, Canada -- PayLab Networks said vending operators can now access its DexLink Web-based vending management software at no charge.

DexLink leverages Web-based software to create an intuitive interface that turns vending machine data into actionable intelligence. It supports VDI standards and DEX protocols, which access inventory, sales, alerts, scheduling, service history and cash accountability. PayLab maintains and backs up all data.

According to PayLab, implementing a comprehensive VMS package can reduce shrinkage and route costs by 1%-3% and 25%, respectively, while increasing same-machine sales by 15%. Despite these figures, the company says just half of all operators are using a dedicated VMS package, and fewer than 6% of North American machines are reporting DEX data remotely through telemetry.

PayLab says it's offering its VMS package for free because it's seeking to build relationships with vending operators, which will accelerate revenue growth over the long term. Operators will be able to preorder PayLab's 3G telemetry device with just a few clicks and those devices can later be coupled with PayLab's Pivot Pay point-of-sale device.
