Goldstein will be headquartered at Parisi's new Dallas office. The company's plans also call for opening a Texas distribution center for the Parisi line of machines and products, according to president Frank Parisi. Its flagship brand is the All American Chicken Machine, an eye-catching animated vender that dispenses toy-filled plastic eggs.
The new marketing manager is a second-generation bulk vending industry veteran. His father, Herb Goldstein, had joined Oak Manufacturing (Vernon, CA) in 1958 and rose to the post of national sales manager. He was a driving force of the National Bulk Vendors Association (originally the National Vendors Association), which he served as president in 1975.
He and his son Larry, who had joined him at Oak when he was 16 years old, later purchased Graff Vending, a major route operation, equipment and product distributorship and importer of bulk merchandise. Graff was one of the first operations to set up mall installations, and it cooperated with other bulk operators around the country.
Larry Goldstein served as NBVA president in 1986, and Parisi Vending founder Peter Parisi served as his vice-president. Peter Parisi, Frank's father, created the first egg capsule for vending machines.
