Gary Green has announced his retirement as CEO of Compass North America after 37 years with the company.

Palmer Brown, CFO, will succeed Green as CEO.

"He is one of the most intelligent people you will meet, knows our business intimately and totally gets the growth culture that has been so instrumental to our success," Green said of Brown in his letter to employees.

Compass Group North America brands include Canteen, Eurest, Chartwells and Morrison Healthcare.
