Following a 12-day strike, Teamsters Local 238 has announced a victory in securing a new three-year collective bargaining agreement with Keurig Dr Pepper for workers at its Ottumwa, Iowa plant, according to a WQAD report. The union stated the previous contract had expired on April 1st. The current agreement includes an improved and cheaper health insurance plan, guaranteed paid time off and an 8% pay increase in the first year, with further increases in subsequent years.

"From the very beginning, this fight was about securing justice and holding this employer accountable, and that's exactly what we did," Drake Custer, Local 238 recording secretary and business agent, told the news outlet.
