ORLANDO, FL --Virtuix has announced that its Omni Arena has debuted at Andretti Indoor Karting & Games here. Virtuix has started rolling out the popular attraction nationwide, including at Dave & Buster's, Sky Zone trampoline parks, and FACE Amusement's Rockin' Raceway (Pigeon Forge, TN).

"We are thrilled to offer the Omni Arena experience to our guests in Orlando," said Edison (Eddie) Hamann, Andretti's managing member. "Omni Arena is a groundbreaking attraction that takes virtual reality to the next level, allowing players to walk and run around inside popular video games. The attraction looks beautiful, and some of our guests play again and again thanks to its $100,000 eSports prize pool."

In Omni Arena, as many as four players can compete for top spots on leaderboards to win cash from a $100,00 prize pool sponsored by Virtuix and HP, resulting in high repeat play. The ongoing contests are organized and managed by Virtuix; it is a turnkey attraction event for the operator.

"Omni Arena is achieving a 30% repeat play rate across all our venues, among the highest in the industry," said Virtuix founder and chief executive Jan Goetgeluk. "Our goal for Omni Arena was to create an anchor attraction at entertainment venues that guests don't just try once, but play again and again. We are excited to install Omni Arena at Andretti in Orlando, where we will showcase the attraction to VIP guests during IAAPA 2019."

Virtuix is a platinum sponsor of the International Association of Amusement Parks & Attractions Expo, taking place Nov. 19 through 22 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, FL, and will exhibit Omni Arena at booth #2686. Each day after the tradeshow ends, Virtuix will hold a happy hour at Andretti, allowing FEC operators to see Omni Arena running in an actual FEC environment.

ON TRACK: Andretti Indoor Karting & Games in Orlando has installed a Virtuix Omni Arena, and reports that it's off to a fast start. Virtuix, which will exhibit at the upcoming IAAPA Expo, plans to host a visit to Andretti's for showgoers to see the Virtuix Arena in action.
