Retail orange juice sales jumped around 38% in the four-week period ending March 28 over the same period last year, according to Nielsen data. The spike was driven by consumers stockpiling staples, according to a CNN report.

Shannon Shepp, executive director of the Florida Department of Citrus, reported a spike in demand for 100% orange juice in particular.
