High-tech vending machines are offering a range of harm reduction products, including naloxone kits, pipes and other drug supplies, condoms and self-testing equipment near community centers in Toronto, according to a BlogTo report.

Some machines offer additional services like interactive touch-screen maps that show where the nearest shelters and drop-in centers are located. Some are offered 24/7 while others are only available during certain hours, depending on location.

"Our vending machines provide free equipment and help people access local resources; this includes sexual health supplies, clean needles, pipes and other supplies for safer drug use," a representative from Casey House told the news outlet. "The machines also have a comprehensive catalogue of community services our clients and community members need, such as housing assistance, meal assistance, and social services."
