One-Of-A-Kind TCBY Frozen Yogurt Vending Machine Makes OneShow Debut

LAS VEGAS -- New from Famous Brands International is a vending machine that dispenses its signature soft-serve frozen yogurt. A vending patron can select a flavor, cup size and topping from a touchscreen menu, then watch their TCBY frozen treat dispensed into the cup. The vend cycle, which also delivers a spoon, takes less than 30 seconds.

The vending machine menu features two flavors and four toppings. TCBY soft-serve yogurt is available in 20 varieties, including no sugar added, fat-free and dairy-free.

The TCBY machine was on display in Las Vegas this week at the National Automatic Merchandising Association's OneShow. That machine is currently the only one of its kind.

Broomfield, CO-based Famous Brands, which also owns Mrs. Fields cookies, plans to produce four more units by fall, and alpha test them throughout the country in high-traffic locations like airports, universities and amusement parks.
