Good Vending Co. in Columbus, Ohio has donated thousands of dollars to local charities, and has set a goal of $1 million to donate in 2021 based on customer purchases, according to a spectrumnews1.com report.

Each dollar spent at Good Vending machines is worth $11 worth of food that can be purchased for the Bishop Griffin Resource Center Food Pantry.

The food pantry serves individuals and families up to twice per month in certain zip codes. Recipients get food Wednesday mornings and Friday afternoons.

Recipients must have a photo ID and document verifying their mailing address.

The company has been in operation for eight months and has installed 40 machines throughout the greater Columbus area.
