Wilson Vance Intermediate School, which is part of the Findlay City School District in Ohio, has installed a book vending machine, according to a WTOL 11 report.

It is one of six schools in the district that offers a book vending machine, funded by a Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation grant.

"This is just one strategy, of many, that we have to again, inspire a love of reading," Kimberly Bash, chief engagement officer for the Findlay-Hancock County Community Foundation, told the news outlet. "These books have been carefully selected, there are a variety of topics, so we're sure to have something that interests all students."

The vending machine can hold nearly 500 books that students can earn and keep. Wilson Vance students from third through fifth grade earn "Tommy Tickets" through good behavior. Once a student earns 50 tickets, they can trade them in for a token to choose a book from the machine.
