ALBANY, NY -- The New York State Automatic Vending Association will showcase the Taste NY vending program to state legislators on Tuesday, Mar. 15, at the state capitol. The event, taking place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., will be followed by the association's annual dinner meeting.
Taste NY is part of Gov. Andrew Cuomo's push to promote the Empire State's homegrown products. NYSAVA has worked closely with his office on the initiative. Products grown and produced in New York will be displayed in the Taste NY-branded vending machines, and available for sampling. Industry members will also meet with New York legislators to inform them about the contributions vending makes to the state's economy.
The Taste NY affair will be held in front of Express Café on the concourse of the Legislative Office Building at Empire State Plaza Complex.
NYSAVA's dinner meeting will follow at the Hilton Garden Inn in Clifton Park, NY, beginning with a cocktail reception starting at 5:30 p.m.
