NYC seeks proposals for food, beverage, merchandise concession at Fordham Plaza

The New York City Department of Transportation has issued a request for proposals seeking concessionaires for the development, operation and maintenance of a food, beverage and/or merchandise concession at Fordham Plaza, located at Fordham Road, Third Avenue and East 189th Street in the Bronx, according to a press release.

DOT is seeking qualified individuals or entities with experience in the operation of food, beverage and/or merchandise services. This concession opportunity is available for the approximately 95-square-foot space with a surrounding licensed premises of approximately 3,105 square feet.

DOT recommends proposers to attend the remote proposer meeting scheduled on May 23 at 10 a.m. A meeting ID and passcode as well as a hyperlink can be found in the notice of solicitation and RFP documents on the City Record.

All proposals must be submitted no later than Friday, June 17, 2022 at 2 p.m. The successful proposer for the concession will enter into a 5-year agreement, with two 5-year renewal options.
