PHILADELPHIA -- The AMI Entertainment Network is partnering with the NYC Landmarks 50 Alliance to commemorate New York City's historical architecture. During the month of April, AMI jukeboxes in the New York metropolitan area will feature a short video that highlights many of the four-century-old city's prominent landmarks and explaining the mission of the alliance.
The NYC Landmark 50 Alliance was established by individuals and organizations committed to informing and educating the public about historic preservation in New York City. Its goal is to broaden appreciation of, and commitment to, the city's admired architecture, and to develop a new audience -- and a new generation of preservationists who will take responsibility for protecting the continuity of the metropolis's cityscape.
AMI jukebox operators are given the opportunity to view the "prom-bono" program through the AMI operator site, and can opt out of the campaign if they wish.
