NY Vending Association Hosts Golf Outing Sept 16

BRONX, NY -- The New York State Automatic Vending Association will hold its fifth annual Herb Luckower golf outing and dinner here at the Pelham Bay Golf Course on Wednesday, Sept. 16.

The gathering is NYSAVA's biggest fundraising event of the year. Proceeds are used to promote the interests of the foodservice and vending industry in New York and protect its legislative interests.

NYSAVA officials will share new opportunities for the industry in New York, including the Taste NY vending program, part of Gov. Andrew Cuomo's push to promote the Empire State's homegrown products. Participants will also get an update on federal and state issues and legislation impacting their businesses.

Registration is open from 10:30 a.m. until noon. Lunch begins at 11:30 and the golf tournament kicks off with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. A cocktail hour and dinner follow at 6 p.m.

Registration for golf, lunch, cocktails and dinner costs $250 per person; the cost for cocktails and dinner only is $125 A person.
