North Carolina teacher raises funds for book vending machine

Allison Gale, a teacher at Leland Middle School in Wilmington, North Carlina, is aiming to raise $5,755 on the Donors Choose website to purchase a book vending machine to encourage students to earn books, according to a wect.com report.

Donors Choose is an online charity that helps teachers raise funds for school projects.

Students will earn tokens to purchase books from the vending machine.
