North Carolina county getting another Narcan vending machine

Edgecombe County, in North Carolina, is working to find a location for a second Narcan vending machine.

The county's first one is located at the county jail in Tarboro, according to a WRAL report.

The second location would make the overdose reversal medication available to the public.

"When [people] get out [of jail], they are faced with stressors and reintegration issues, and they overdose," Community Paramedic Program Manager Dalton Barrett told the news outlet.
