Nikon, in collaboration with Bandai Namco, has released its line of miniature camera collectibles in the United States via gashapon vending machines, according to a PetaPixel report. The "Nikon Miniature Collection," which debuted in Japan in December, features scaled-down versions of two classic analog cameras (the Nikon F and Nikon SP) and two modern mirrorless cameras (the Nikon Zfc and Nikon Z9), each paired with a lens.

These approximately 20-millimeter tall miniatures include removable lenses and body caps, along with sticker sets for added detail, such as logos and dials. The Nikon F mini also features a spring-loaded shutter button.

Bandai Namco has been expanding the availability of its gashapon machines in North America, with 28 official shops and licensed machines in 166 locations across the U.S. and Canada. While gashapon availability outside Japan was previously limited, this expansion makes the Nikon miniatures more accessible.

The cost per capsule pull in the U.S. is $8, higher than the price in Tokyo. The machines are randomized, offering a one in four chance of obtaining a specific camera model. The Nikon minis were added to North American machines in March, with new locations and machine updates regularly posted on the official US gashapon website.
