Newspaper profiles Wisconsin entrepreneur’s vending journey

The Green Bay Press Gazette recently profiled the progress of a 23-year-old entrepreneur who purchased an established vending business, Appleton Vending in Appleton, Wisconsin.

Reive Pullen, a former law enforcement officer and a Marine Corp Reserves member, wrote a 75-page business plan while taking a course for entrepreneurs at the Venture Center at Fox Valley Tech in Appleton.

He also spent time learning about the business from its owner before making the purchase. He purchased a few locations to learn the business before securing funding to acquire the full business.

The business included about 105 machines in 50 locations that were in need of technology upgrades.
