New Videogame Convention Is Planned In New Jersey

PARSIPPANY, NJ -- A new videogame convention is scheduled for Sept. 19 here. A Video Game Con, a one-day event hosted by the grassroots fan group ButtonSmasher LLC, will feature coin-op and home console games in a 36,000-sq.ft. venue.

Event organizers also promise a full-line of tournaments, musical performances and panel discussions, as well as cosplay (costumer play) and something called "videogame burlesque."
