Nevada adds third COVID test kit vending machine

COVID-19 testing kits are now available at the Regional Government Center in Laughlin, Nevada, according to a press release, the third test kit vending machine in Clark County.

The Southern Nevada Health District partnered with Clark County to install the vending machine. The test kits are free and are available Monday through Friday between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.

People who are interested in accessing the tests from the vending machines can register online to receive a PIN which will allow them to access free test kits at any of the machines.

Vending machines are also located at the Regional Transportation Commission's Bonneville Transit Center in Las Vegas and the Mesa View Regional Hospital in Mesquite.

The project was funded with support from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's national initiative to address COVID-19 health disparities among populations that are at high risk for infection and who are underserved, including minority and rural communities.
