Nestle to idle 77 at Ohio facility

Nestle SA plans to lay off 77 of its approximately 3,000 employees who work at its Solon, Ohio campus, according to a Cleveland.com report.

Layoffs will be permanent and will be made from Dec. 31 to August.

The company said it is trying to stay abreast of changing consumer and market trends.

The Solon campus is called the company's Center of Excellence for its frozen and chilled food businesses, including its Stouffers brands.
