Nestle to close Ontario plant

Nestle will close a southeastern Ontario plant and relocate the work to U.S. sites, citing a "highly competitive" market, according to a grainews.com report.

The company will start to wind down work at the Trenton plant, where it makes dehydrated dry-blend and frozen products.

The shutdown will complete by mid-2022, the company said.
