Nestle S.A. plans to invest 40 million Swiss francs ($42.88 million) to build a western Ukraine production facility, one of the few global companies to invest in the country since the Russian invasion, according to a Reuters report.
The company, which has about 5,800 employees in Ukraine, will add 1,500 employees to the facility in Smolyhiv in the Volyn region.
The facility will support the production of instant food, soups, seasonings and cold sauces for Ukraine and the European market.
