On July 4, Coffee Crisp, a popular Canadian Nestlé chocolate bar, became available to U.S. customers for the first time, but could only be gifted by a Canadian, according to a Little Black Book report.

The candy bar is available in a vending machine placed at the U.S./Canada border crossing at Peace Arch Park in Vancouver, BC. Canadians can invite American friends to the border to get a free Coffee Crisp.

Developed in collaboration with Cossette, the vending machine reportedly celebrates the cooperation between the two countries.

"We're thrilled to bring this surprising initiative to life, highlighting the special bond between Canada and the U.S. and making this Canadian treat accessible to those who've been craving it, but couldn't get their hands on it," Riona Coller, marketing leader at Nestlé Canada, told the news outlet. "This was purely meant to demonstrate the unique charm of Coffee Crisp, sparking curiosity and anticipation. We're excited to share this beloved chocolate bar with our American neighbours and see it bring them joy."
