Nestle has commenced operations at its largest coffee processing plant to date, located in Veracruz, Mexico, a $340 million project to process 670,000 bags per year, according to a Reuters report.

The plant will make instant coffee for the Nescafe brand.

The director of a commodities trader said the company will source all of its robusta coffee for the operation from Brazil.
