Nestle explores buying vitamin maker Bountiful

Nestle has confirmed it is in discussions to acquire Bountiful Co., a vitamin maker whose brands include Nature's Bounty, according to a Bloomberg report. Owner KKR & Co. was said to have been planning an IPO to value the firm at more than $6 billion.

Mark Schneider in his first year as Nestle CEO oversaw the $2.3 billion acquisition of Atrium Innovations Inc. in 2017.
