NCVA Membership Meeting Draws Record 160 To Summer Confab

CARY, NC -- For the second year in a row, a record crowd of 160 industry members attended the North Carolina Vending Association's annual membership event. It took place July 13-15 at a new beachfront venue, the Holiday Inn Resort at Wrightsville Beach.

NCVA hosted its members from North Carolina, along with its neighbors from the South Carolina Vending Association and Virginia Automatic Merchandising Association.  

The weekend began with an NCVA board meeting and a motivational speech by Denise Ryan of FireStar Speaking, followed by dinner and casino night. Saturday began with volleyball, corn hole and a day at the beach.  

The evening finished with a seafood boil dinner and dancing to the Russell 'n' Woods band.  

During the event, the Atlantic Coast Exposition planning committee made up of NCVA, SCVA and VAMA representatives, met to continue planning the "Sand, Sun and Fun"-themed ACE 2018" in Myrtle Beach. Operator registration is under way and all exhibit space is completely sold out.  ACE is scheduled for Oct. 11-13 at the Embassy Suites Kingston Plantation.
