CARY, NC -- The North Carolina Vending Association has announced the introduction of an annual scholarship program for students who are connected with an NCVA-member company. The association created the scholarship as another way of giving back to the communities that have sustained the North Carolina vending industry's success.
The $1500 scholarship will be awarded to a deserving student who meets the affiliation criteria. Applications will be evaluated on the basis of academics, character and financial need. This year's deadline for submitting applications is Sept. 30. Additional information, and an application form, may be requested from NCVA by emailing to info@ncvend or calling (919) 387-121.
The North Carolina Vending Association, founded in 1955, is the oldest independent vending association in the country. In that year, it was one of two trade organizations that launched the Carolinas Vending Convention. That event grew into the Atlantic Coast Exposition, which has been held annually for more than six decades.
