Nayax rewards operators for embracing Monyx Wallet

Convenience services operators using the Nayax Monyx Wallet can be rewarded every time a customer downloads the Monyx Wallet app under a new promotion to encourage operators to embrace the wallet, according to a press release.

The three-month campaign, which began this month, will reward the operator for each app downloaded via the QR code linked to their machine.

"The campaign is aimed at new Monyx operators, existing operators that want to run a loyalty campaign and existing customers that intend to launch Monyx Prepaid," Keren Sharir, chief marketing officer, Nayax, said in the press release.

"The take-up of payment apps in the past 12 months or so has demonstrated clearly that both operators and consumers are eager to 'go cashless,'''Sharir said. "Launching this incentive at this time is our way of gently pressing the accelerator pedal, so that all of our customers, and their end-users, are in pole position in the race to stay ahead of the retail curve."

"The app's digital loyalty programs help operators to increase engagement, with a variety of consumer rewards. For instance, thanks to Monyx Wallet, a laundromat can run a 'pay for nine washes, get the tenth free' promotion; amusement operators can offer 'pay for five kiddie rides, get the sixth free' and vending operators can design loyalty bonuses for regular coffee purchasers, and so on," Moshe Orenstein, chief product officer, said in the release.

The app has been designed specifically to enable it to adopt the corporate identity of individual customers, giving it an 'in-house' appearance.

In addition, when there is a problem with the vend, customers can be reimbursed digitally, eliminating the time that's wasted in administering refunds.
