TEL AVIV, Israel --
Nayax has added mobile payment app Twint to its growing range of payment methods for its card readers.
Twint is the latest cashless payment method integrated into Nayax's VPOS product line of card readers, intended for vending, laundromats, kiosks and other unattended machines.
Nayax's products are compatible with credit and debit cards, EMV chipcards, NFC payments and QR codes. Twint joins Nayax's numerous mobile payment choices including Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Android Pay, Google Pay, Wechat Pay, Alipay and Paytm.
Cashless payments and smartphones are commonplace across Europe, and Swiss-developed app Twint combines these two popular forms with its mobile payment service. In Switzerland, Twint is a commonly accepted payment method, including for unattended machines.
"It's important for Nayax to help give consumers in every country, every payment option available," said Nayax chief executive Yair Nechmad. "With Twint added to the VPOS payment options, we are one step closer to this. We want the operators we work with to achieve the best growth possible and providing a wide variety of payment options achieves this goal. "
Nayax, established in 2005, says it has more than 250,000 devices installed worldwide, operating in more than 55 countries.
