Nayax acquires UPPay, expands Latin American presence

Nayax Ltd. has acquired UPPay, a Brazil-based digital payment and telemetry provider for self-service coffee machines, according to a press release. This move aims to significantly strengthen Nayax's position in the Latin American market.

The acquisition allows Nayax to expand its reach in Brazil's growing automated self-service coffee sector and provides access to UPPay's affordable and scalable technology. The purchase, valued at approximately $5.3 million USD, will be paid with cash on hand. UPPay will be integrated with VMtecnologia, which Nayax acquired in 2024, to combine sales, distribution and technical expertise.

Nayax aims to leverage UPPay's platform to offer a wider range of solutions and accelerate growth across Latin America.
