INDIANAPOLIS -- The AMOA-National Dart Association has inducted amusement operators Britt Bruner and Chris Warren into the 2015 NDA Hall of Fame. The longtime NDA members were recognized during the Team Dart President's Reception on May 7 in Las Vegas.

Bruner is vice-president of D&E Music and Vending (Mitchell, SD) and Manford Music & Vending (Hurron, SD), serving 25 years at both operations. An NDA member for as many years, he has served two terms on the association's board of directors and was president in 2008. As a past-president, Bruner has remained active serving on several NDA committees and helping out at annual Team Dart events. He also is a presenter at and planner of NDA's League SMART biennial educational conference.

At home, Bruner is tournament director for both the South Dakota State Dart Tournament and the Heartland Tournament. During his tenure as tournament director, the SDSDT has grown from two days to five with nearly 800 soft-tip teams participating. The program has raised more than $350,000 for the Make a Wish Foundation of South Dakota.

Chris Warren of Century Gaming Technologies (Billings, MT) has been in the coin-operated vending industry for 34 years. An NDA member for the past 23 years, he was the Amusement and Music Operators Association's liaison to the NDA board of directors for five years beginning in 2004. He was NDA president in 2010, has served on several of its committees and worked at many Team Dart contests. For the past five years, he has been involved in running the Montana State Dart Tournament.

"This award means very much to me because the NDA is such a great association and the leader in electronic darts," Warren said. "It [the award] puts me in a very special group of people who have dedicated so much of their time to the NDA over the years. There are so many others who deserve this award."

Hall of Fame candidates are evaluated on their levels of contributions -- locally, nationally and internationally -- to the sport of electronic darting, as well as their leadership abilities in tournament development and awareness building, among other criteria.

Indianapolis-based NDA is an international trade association of coin-operated vending companies representing some 250 member operations and 250,000 players worldwide. It was established by and for coin machine operators, to promote the sport of electronic darting exclusively on operator-owned equipment. The association offers programs, materials and supplies to assist its members to increase the profitability of their dart operations. NDA is sponsored by the Amusement and Music Operators Association, Arachnid Inc., Cyberdine d.o.o., Gaelco Darts S.L. and NSM-Löwen Entertainment.
