NEW YORK, NY--June 16, 2015 --The lead singer of fun. has released his debut solo album, Grand Romantic, on TouchTunes jukeboxes. The album, which went live on June 16, stays close to the Queen inspired ballads that fans love about fun., but also draws from Nate Ruess's own experiences in love and life, and with his relationship with designer, Charlotte Ronson."It felt so believable; I was saying what I was thinking," Ruess states. "This is the first time I've been comfortable in my own skin, and it's with someone who's comfortable in their own skin. The reason I'm making a solo album is because it's the first time."
The single "Nothing Without Love" has already entered Billboard's charts, following suit with fun.'s hit singles, such as "Some Nights." Ruess said this is not the end of fun.; it's just a hiatus and that each member is focusing on their own respective projects at the moment. For more information, visit nateruess.com.
