A community health organization in Vancouver, Washington, is installing Narcan vending machines that will dispense free doses of the life-saving medication, according to a KATU 2 report.
This machine is the first in downtown Vancouver and is located inside the Clark County Corrections building. Officials hope it will make Narcan more accessible and save lives.
"With fentanyl on the rise, it's important that everyone have access to this medication because you never know when you might come across somebody that has overdosed," Ashely Gaffney, Vancouver community health director, told the news outlet.
