WASHINGTON -- National Automatic Merchandising Association senior vice-president of government affairs Eric Dell took part in the Institute of Food Technologists' Food Policy Update held recently in the nation's capital. The event featured regulatory updates and sessions on several food policies.
Representing vending and OCS, Dell joined a panel discussion on the U.S. Food and Drug Administration's new calorie-disclosure rules, alongside USDA executives, government affairs association executives and regulatory experts.
Dell said his sharing a platform with top FDA officials strengthens NAMA's cooperative effort to bring the vending industry and government together to resolve challenges with calorie disclosure rules.
