The National Automatic Merchandising Association has released guidelines, including checklists, for operators working to keep break rooms safe, according to a press release. The guidelines were developed by an industry task force and are designed to take the guesswork out of tasks required for returning to full operations in a safe, effective manner.

"The overarching goal of the task force was to provide counsel to help operators restore their businesses successfully," NAMA CEO Carla Balakgie said in the press release.

Led by NAMA and a task force of industry experts, these guidelines provide channel-specific action items.  Task force members include:

  • Jeff Deitchler, Prairie Fire Coffee Roasters
  • Steve Foley, Foley Foodservice
  • Linda Furlano, A.H. Management
  • Scott Halloran, Trolley House Refreshments
  • Dick Hanson, Buffalo Rock
  • Josh Rosenberg, Plantsop
  • Greg Sidwell, G&J Marketing
  • Tom Steuber, Associated Services
