CHICAGO -- The National Automatic Merchandising Association's 2015 Operating Ratio Report, Key Indicators for Success, is now available for purchase.
Analyzing data gathered from participating NAMA member companies, the study provides key insights into exactly how high-profit firms generate better profit numbers. It focuses on three profit drivers -- growth, gross margin and expenses. The report shares clear evidence as to how small differences in those few areas translate directly into higher levels of profitability.
"NAMA's Operating Ratio Report provides financial benchmarking and analysis that is unique to our industry and cannot be found anywhere else," said NAMA vice-president of communications and information services Chip Potter. "It evaluates critical metrics designed to help our members plan for long-term profit performance and sales growth." He added that the report indicates that operators don't have to improve dramatically in all areas to drive profit, but rather "do a little better across the board."
To purchase a digital copy of the Operating Ratio Report, visit www.vending.org/ORR. The cost is $225 for members and $395 for nonmembers.
