CHICAGO -- The National Automatic Merchandising Association has begun a scholarship that will allow one member of the association's Emerging Leaders Network to attend the 2016 Executive Development Program, taking place Oct. 23 -27 at Michigan State University (East Lansing).
ELN's sponsorship is valued between $3,375 and $4,375. NAMA's four-day EDP program provides instruction on revenue growth, marketing plan development, strategic thinking and leadership skills. With a requirement of three years of industry experience, all ELN members are invited to apply; download the application form here. The deadline for applications is Sept. 21 and the winner will be announced on Sept. 30.
Emerging Leaders, NAMA members aged 40 or younger, are pursuing a higher level of professionalism in the vending industry. The ELN Steering Committee said education is its No. 1 goal for 2016-17.
