CHICAGO -- The National Automatic Merchandising Association has announced that it now is accepting nominations for its three prestigious annual awards.  These honors recognize convenience services  providers – vending, office refreshment and pure water, micromarket and contract foodservice operators – who have demonstrated consistent achievement at advancing the industry.

Awards are presented to an Operator of the Year, an Allied Member of the Year and the Industry Person of the Year. This year's awards ceremony will take place during the opening session of The NAMA Show, set for the Las Vegas (NV) Convention Center  from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 24.

Candidates must exhibit a history of service and leadership. Active participation in NAMA, its affiliated state councils and community service are highly valued. The nominee must be innovative, possess a willingness to expand conventional practices and follow consistent ethical business standards in accordance with the voluntary NAMA code of ethics.

All NAMA members in good standing who have not won the award for the past seven years are eligible. Nominations may be made online by clicking here and must be received before the end of business on Thursday, Jan. 31.
