BLOOMINGTON, MN -- Ronald Carl (Ron) Reinking, general manager of Moss Distributing's Minnesota office, died suddenly on May 3. He was 57.

Reinking was a coin machine distribution veteran whose career began with his family's business, Vendors Supply & Service Inc., where he spent 29 years. He joined Moss Distributing 11 years ago.

"We have lost a part of the Moss Family today, and the industry has lost a great friend," said Moss Distributing principal Terry Moss. "He left the mark of common good in what he touched."

Amusement & Music Operators Association president Richard (Rick) LaFleur, of LaFleur & Sons (Devil's Lake, ND) praised Reinking's enthusiasm for the coin machine industry and his long history of outstanding service to his operator clients. "Ron has been described as the ultimate advocate for his customers and the industry," LaFleur recalled.  "Quick-witted and fully engaged at all times, Ron made the most out of every opportunity for his customers,  using truth as the guide."

Reinking is survived by his wife, Diane; daughters Melissa Schreiber,  Crystal Lowell and Julie Reinking; four grandchildren; and his parents, Don and Penny.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 11 at 11:00 a.m. at the Chapel Hills UCC, 6512 Vernon Ave. South, Edina, MN. There will be a visitation one hour prior to the service, and a  reception will  follow.
